We’ve been talking about this book for a long, long time… and it’s finally here!

Bockris was a friend and collaborator of both Burroughs and Warhol and he tried on several occasions to bring them together. These meetings are recorded in this book in interview fragments, photos, essays, and journal entries.
Like these artists’ work, this book is hard to define. It has elements of the collage. It includes art and memoir, essay and interview. It expands Bockris’ idea of “the biography of comparison,” which is based on the premise that a biography is better when it examines two or more subjects at the same time. Towards the back of the book, Beatdom regular Leon Horton interviews Bockris at length about his life and his time with Burroughs and Warhol.
